Initial heats.

There are eight initial heats taking place during February 2012. In each heat our panel of local judges are looking for outstanding companies to win Best Start-up and Best Enterprise.
Best Start-up.
- Secure a cash prize of £1,000

Best Enterprise.
- Award the winning company a cash investment of £5,000
- Provide local mentoring and invitations to networking events

Grand final.

The winners from the initial heats will be invited to the Grand Final in Liverpool in March 2012 with our top panel of judges. The winners will be announced at the Gala dinner during Global Enterprise Week.
Best Start-up.

- Receive a practical two year programme of mentoring support from senior Lloyds TSB figures,
- Benefit from a two hour mentoring session with the Group Director of Lloyds Banking Group.
- A total of five hours free legal advice, courtesy of LawNet
Best Enterprise.
- Receive an overall cash prize of £50,000 to invest in their business
- Take advantage of a two year programme of enhanced mentoring support from senior Lloyds TSB figures.

Entry is open to all those who:
- Have started or co-founded their own business,
- Are currently studying at university or have graduated in the past five years
- Are aged 18 or over,
- Have been running their business for at least a year and
- Have their business based in England, Scotland or Wales.
