Q: Can anyone enter?

A: These Awards are for all businesses run by university students or by those who have graduated in the last five years. The businesses must have been trading continually for at least one year.

Q: Do I have to be a Lloyds TSB customer to enter?

A: No the competition is open to all eligible university student and graduate-operated businesses.

Q: My business is based overseas - can I still enter the Awards?

A: Unfortunately not. These Awards are for businesses based - and trading in - England, Scotland or Wales.

Q: I am an international student presently studying in the UK. Can I enter the Awards?

A: Yes - provided that you are running a business based - and trading in - England, Scotland or Wales

Q: I've got a great idea for a business that I'm about to start. Is there a category for me?

A: These Awards are for businesses that have been trading for at least a year.

Q: I completed my post-graduate degree course in the last five years. Does that mean I am still eligible?

A: Yes - you will still be eligible for the Awards.

Q: Why has Lloyds TSB created the Enterprise Awards?

A: Lloyds TSB is committed to the Small and Medium sized business market and wants to encourage new start-ups and enterprises. The Awards are one way that we are showing this commitment.

Q: How do I enter?

A: Complete the online entry form and provide the financial information requested. By entering entrants confirm that all the information provided is correct and accurate at the time of entry.

Q: Can I enter by post?

A: No. You can only enter using the online entry form.

Q: When can I enter?

A: Entries start on Sunday 13 November 2011 and close on Monday 30 January 2012. Entries received outside that period will not be considered.

Q: Do all partners or owners of my business have to attend or have graduated from, University?

A: No. Only you as the person completing the entry form and entering the Enterprise Award scheme on behalf of your business must have attended a University as set out in the entry criteria above.

Q: What is covered in the free legal advice?

LawNetA: LawNet UK (www.lawnet.co.uk) is a network of independent law firms. Through their members, LawNet are offering the free legal advice to the 16 winners. Winners of the initial heats will win two hours advice and Overall winners will receive a further three hours (five hours in total) This can be on any legal topic but the offer must be taken up within six months of winning.
